Job opportunity at M3 Project – Householder Support Worker
We are seeking to recruit an outgoing, enthusiastic person to work with our team of volunteer Householders in support of young people on placement in our supported lodgings service.
Householder Support Worker
Salary: FTE £21817 – £23776 per annum pro rata (dependent upon experience)
Hours: 15 hours per week (days and hours of work to be agreed), holidays 25 days per annum pro rata
Key Accountability: To recruit, assess, and approve supported lodgings Householders with M3 Project, and support and train Householders in providing support for young people in lodgings placements.
This will be done through flexible contact on a face-to-face basis, regular support and supervision meetings and Annual Review of Householders, supporting Householders to complete Independent Living Skills modules with Young People and liaison with the Project Workers to sustain young people’s placements.
Working from the M3 Office in Rawtenstall but covering the East Lancashire footprint the post holder will manage the day to day requirements of our Householders who provide support for those young people on the Service.
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as is experience of working with young people and/or volunteers.
A full Drivers licence and access to a vehicle are also essential, as travel is an integral part of the role.
Some evening and out of hours work will be required from time to time.
M3 Project ensures safe recruitment processes and successful applicants will be required to have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
